IPL 2025 has started with a bang. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will start their campaign in the 18th season on Sunday with a match against Mumbai Indians. Rituraj Gaikwad praised MS Dhoni
CSK captain Rituraj Gaikwad told the media on Saturday, “A lot of new players have joined the team and sometimes they struggle to hit the ball as well as he is doing right now. So, definitely it inspires many of us.” He is amazed by Dhoni’s amazing ability to contribute to the team.
The CSK captain further said, “So whatever he is doing at the age of 43, I think it is fantastic. We have some strong things, which we have been following for the last two years. So I think nothing has really changed and hopefully he will continue to play important innings for us.” Let us tell you that MS Dhoni retired from international cricket in 2020 but he is still playing in the IPL. Dhoni was retained as an uncapped player for IPL 2025. Dhoni is likely to bat in the lower order once again in the IPL.
